Palram Americas, a leading manufacturer of polycarbonate and PVC sheets, announced the Canadian Construction Materials Centre (CCMC) evaluation of many Palram products. The CCMC is similar to the International Code Council (ICC) approval in the United States. This is a required approval for sales of construction materials in the Canadian market.
The following Palram products have received evaulation report indicating that the products are compliant with Canada's National Building Code (NBC) for canopy applications in Evaluation Report 13450-R:

- Suntop® Corrugated Foamed Polycarbonate Sheet
- Palruf® Corrugated PVC Sheet
- Palopaque® PVC Sheet
- Sunlite® Multi-Wall Polycarbonate Sheet
- Palsun® Polycarbonate Sheet
The evaluation may not be listed on the National Research Council Canada’s website yet, as their registry is updated on a quarterly basis. An excerpt from the Evaluation Report 13450-R is as follows:
Suntuf®, Palruf ®, Palopaque®, Sunlite®, Palsun® and Suntop® (polycarbonate and polyvinyl chloride panels)” when used as a canopy covering in accordance with the conditions and limitations stated in Section 3 of CCMC Evaluation Report #13450-R, complies with the National Building Code 2010.
