PALSUN is a high quality flat polycarbonate, offered in numerous variations. In its clear solid form PALSUN delivers the transparency of glass at less than half the weight, combined with unmatched strength. PALSUN can be cold bent, fabricated and/or formed, making it ideal for applications such as skylights, barrel vault roofing, architectural roofing and general glazing. Clear, translucent or opaque, PALSUN sheets are also ideal as machine guards and safety glazing.
International Building Code Compliance
PALSUN has been evaluated by ICC-ES (International Code Council Evaluation Service) for compliance with the 2006 International Building Code. Palsun complies with specifications for light-transmitting plastics in Section 2606.4 of the IBC, and with specifications for interior finish in IBC Section 803.1.
